Cooperativa Agraria Bosques Verdes was formed in 2021 and comprises the efforts of 211 coffee growing families in San Ignacio, Cajamarca, Peru. Membership in the cooperative grants these families the benefits of ongoing training in the form of workshops and field days, access to Agroforestry Farm Loan and Pre-harvest loans. All members have received training on sustainable farming practices and receive continuing assistance to ensure that their crop is the highest quality and fetches the most competitive prices possible, enabling those families to thrive and grow. We found that this coffee satisfies our cup requirements for No Drama Llama, medium body and acidity with a hint of green aliveness in the cup. Get it while we have it!
